About Broad & James
Wallace Shriner founded Broad & James in 1973, opening a Shell service station at the intersection of E. Broad St & James Rd, Columbus, OH. Approximately 20 years ago, Wally passed the reigns to his sons, Jim and Tim Shriner. In 2015, the two brothers, along with their staff of 36, moved the facility from the corner Shell service station to the new 22,000 square feet building at 4301 E 5th Ave. After more than forty years of service, we have remained a family-owned business delivering automotive repair and quality towing service to the people of Columbus and surrounding areas.
Towing 24/7, Broad & James relies on its fleet of approximately thirty trucks and its trained and experienced drivers. The trucks include wheel lifts, flatbeds, and medium duty trucks. Most of the wrecker operators are Wreckmaster certified and have years of experience. Our mechanics are ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified technicians, and we are a NAPA Auto Care Center. We are capable of completing most major and minor repairs on foreign and domestic vehicles. Our repairs include everything from repairing a nail hole in a tire to a complete engine replacement.
